The Readiness Phase of Learning
The Singapore approach includes 3 phases of learning: Readiness, Engagement and Mastery.
In this section, we are going to look at how home educators and students begin each chapter ready to begin. Educators need to have the necessary materials and information to know what they are teaching while students need to access prior knowledge to reactivate what they already know.
The goal is to help students make connections to math concepts they have learned as they stack on new knowledge. Let's look at how Primary Mathematics ensures students are ready to begin a new chapter while providing educators with everything they need.
