Implementing the #1 Math Program in the World is No Easy Task

You’ve got all your materials and you are ready to go! You begin flipping through your materials and have a moment of pause. 

You start to see things that may make you question your decision. 

Maybe you see content and say, “I’ve never seen this before.” or “I wasn’t taught this way.” “I’ve never seen these things before. What’s a number bond? What’s a bar model?"  Maybe you question a specific mental math strategy or something that looks brand new. 

You may even notice as you begin flipping through your Teacher’s Guide or Home Instructor Guide several activities that reference group work or partner games. You may start to wonder how this will work with only one student.

Or maybe you are like me and you see the challenging problems involved in the student book and start to wonder how you could possibly do this program with multiple children at home.  How am I going to give the time and energy this program needs when I need to educate multiple levels of children?
